Tourism Ambassador Program

It’s an exciting time for Lachlan Shire, with the new Visitor Information Centre taking shape within Condobolin’s “Utes in the Paddock” tourism precinct.

With the doors now open Council is rolling out the volunteer Tourism Ambassador Program.

We are looking for passionate locals who enjoy meeting and talking to people and have a few hours to spare, to join our new team as volunteer Tourism Ambassadors.

As an Ambassador you will be willing to share your love of the shire with our visitors, be comfortable in meeting and greeting people, and be confident in answering phone calls and undertaking duties such as replenishing brochure racks, restocking merchandise, and assisting with event preparation. We will provide training and regular familiarisation tours. 

You will be working with a vibrant and dedicated team at our new architecturally designed, air-conditioned, fully accessible centre to grow our Shire’s tourism industry.

The centre is open 7 days per week Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm and 10:00am to 3:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
