Level 2 Water Restrictions have been implemented for Tottenham, Albert and rural water users connected to the B-section Pipeline due to reduced water availability from the pipeline. The restrictions commence immediately.

Albert Reservoir has dropped below 50% capacity due to the reduction in water availability from the B-section Pipeline. Tottenham Water Treatment Plant is in operation; however, Leg O’ Mutton dam levels are falling due to high demand and evaporation due to the warmer temperature.

Under Level 2 water restrictions, watering of lawns and gardens is permitted every second day under the odds and evens system. During daylight saving time, properties with even street numbers can water on even days in the mornings between 6am and 9am, and in the evenings between 6pm and 9pm only. Properties with odd numbers are permitted to water on odd days.

The full list of level 2 water restrictions can be viewed here.

Residents with questions or concerns regarding the restrictions should contact Council’s Infrastructure Services Department on 02 6895 1900.
