2025 Australia Day Award nominees announced

Nominees for the Lachlan Shire Council 2025 Local Australia Day Awards have been announced.

The Awards will be presented on Australia Day, Sunday, 26 January 2025 by Lachlan Shire Council Mayor, Cr John Medcalf OAM and the Australia Day Ambassador, Ms Donna Burton OAM, at the local awards and citizenship ceremony to be held at the SRA Pavillion, Condobolin, commencing at 8:00am.

The community is invited to attend the free Australia Day community breakfast in Condobolin at the SRA Pavilion to be held from 7:00am – 8:00am. This will be followed by announcement of the Award winners and a Citizenship Ceremony.

  • Condobolin International Women’s Day High Tea
  • Unveiling of the Tullibigeal Ladies Fire Truck
  • Mayfield Hotel Australia Day Event

Mayor John Medcalf said “I would like to congratulate everyone nominated for an award. This year we received a wonderful response to the call for nominations. It really is terrific to be able to recognise these individuals and groups for their achievements and the contribution they have made to our community.

“I’m looking forward to meeting all the nominees on Australia Day and enjoying breakfast with them at the pavilion before the ceremony.”
