MONDAY MOVIES - CONDOBOLIN LIBRARY
The next Monday Movie will be held at the Condobolin Library on 20 May 2024 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Free afternoon tea will be served and bookings are essential, so call the Library today 6895 2253.
WASTE 2 ART
Waste 2 Art 2024 – The Year of Packaging is open for entries. Visit www.netwaste.com.au for an entry form. Artworks & entry forms are to be lodged at Condobolin Library by 24/6/24.
ROADS UPDATE
Boona Road - widening from Maitland Street to end of narrow seal (18 km) is continuing with sealing progressively being done.
Molong St, Condobolin – Kerb & gutter has been replaced and pavement reconstruction is underway near the intersection of Denison Street.
Meadowview Road – work is continuing with sealing due in coming weeks.
Road resealing program – Council’s road resealing program is underway with resealing programmed for 3.2 km of SR 230 Lachlan Valley Way, Kiacatoo; 2.6 km of Lake Cargellligo Road; and Holt Street in Lake Cargelligo in coming weeks, weather permitting.
PROJECT UPDATE
Scott Street Subdivision, Condobolin - Site works continuing watch for entering traffic.
Lake Cargelligo Netball Courts – Resurfacing work will be completed in early May.
Gum Bend Lake foreshore improvements - Work is scheduled to commence in late May.
WATER & SEWER UPDATE
Lachlan Street, Condobolin – Upgrade of the Sewer Pump Station and replacement of water mains are in progress.
Leg of Mutton Dam - Work on the inlet from the B-Section Pipeline is nearing completion.
Albert Reservoir – Design work is continuing.
